Senior Project Engineer

Mike holds an M.S. in Structural Engineer from Washington University, as well as a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a B.A. from Buena Vista University. His responsibilities at Cowell Engineering include preparing structural design calculations, structural drawings and specifications for one-story and multi-story buildings. He performs structural evaluations and prepares reports for building owners and contractors adding loads or renovating existing structures.

Mike has experience working with a variety of structures including warehouses, offices, retail stores, schools, churches and special structures such as poles and cell phone antennae. He is familiar with the latest codes and standards for design using reinforced concrete, tilt-up concrete, masonry, wood, structural steel and other metals.
