PROJECT FACTS
The project consisted of a 10,200 square foot fire station with 8,100 square feet on the first floor, a 1,500 square foot basement and a 625 square foot storage area. The first floor consists of apparatus bays and office space.

Construction: The building is constructed with reinforced masonry bearing walls, a pre-fabricated wood truss roof at the apparatus bays and entry canopy, and a steel bar joist and metal deck at the remaining flat roof. Pre-cast concrete hollow core planks are used for the storage floor at the rear of the apparatus bays. Steel bar joists and a cast-in-place concrete floor are used over the basement. |
